Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a leading traffic management team. You will work with direct labour and sub-contract teams, set up temporary traffic controls and manage flows in busy road environments.

Candidates must hold Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications, be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
