Job summary

Hoople Group in Hereford is seeking a Streetworks and Inspections Administrator to join the Highways and Public Realm team. The role supports processing orders, inspections and administrative tasks to keep highways services running smoothly.

You will use Office 365, manage workflows, and work both independently and with colleagues. This permanent, full-time post offers 37 hours per week and a salary of £26,016 to £26,847 per year.

• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams with a methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Streetworks and Licencing team managing the Herefordshire network, focusing on Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and applications.
• Handle invoicing and resolve aged debt, plus administer routine and defect follow up inspections.
• Support delivery of a high-quality highways and public realm service.

The Role

What will you be doing?

In this role you will provide technical support to the Streetworks and Licencing team in managing the network across Herefordshire. Whilst the role will be supporting all areas of the team, the main focuses will be on processing Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and other applications, invoicing and resolving aged debt and administering routine and defect follow up inspections, essential to the effective delivery of this technical service.

About You

As a Streetworks and Inspections Administrator you will:

• Be able to demonstrate effective experience of Office 365 (incl. Teams, Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
• Have the ability to organise a variety of different workstreams, through prioritising and taking a methodical approach to tasks
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
