Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a proactive Streekworks Planner in Hemel Hempstead to coordinate operational teams, manage permits, and keep projects on time and to a high standard. You’ll liaise with clients and stakeholders, plan from start to finish, and help deliver essential infrastructure works in water and civils.

Qualifications

• Previous planning experience in utilities, street works or similar operational environment.
• Knowledge of Street Manager and/or Aurora systems is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with ability to liaise with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
• Understanding of permits, street works requirements and/or traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational teams to ensure safe, efficient and on-time delivery.
• Manage permits and liaise with clients to maintain service levels.
• Support planning from initial stages through to completion, identifying risks and resolving issues.
