Job summary

Cambridge City Council is seeking Street Scene General Operatives to support keeping the city centre and residential areas clean, tidy and looking their best. The role is temporary ongoing with hours Mon-Fri, roughly 11:00am/12:00pm to 7:00pm, pay £13.90 per hour and enhanced rate 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Your duties will include litter picking, pressure washing, weeding, general street cleaning and keeping public areas clean and tidy, plus carrying out outdoor cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• Role involves outdoor duties such as litter picking and cleaning.
• We are recruiting both Drivers and Non-Drivers for the positions.
• Minimum 2 Drivers and 2 Non-Drivers are required.
