Job summary

St Mungo’s Oxford Street Outreach team is recruiting Outreach Workers to provide a rapid response to people sleeping rough across Oxford City, linking them with healthcare, benefits and housing advice.

You will assess needs, deliver person-centred support, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to meet clients’ individual needs. The role includes early starts and possible weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to network with a variety of people.
• Understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people and difficulties in accessing services.
• Resilience and patience to support clients with complex needs.
