Randstad CPE currently seeks experienced Street Lighting Operatives for an ongoing civil engineering contract across the Teesside region. You will install, maintain and repair street lighting infrastructure, performing electrical tests and high-level work with MEWPs.

Applicants should hold a street lighting qualification, G39, CSCS/ECS, IPAF, and a full UK driving licence. Long-term, local contract with weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• Street lighting qualification or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical/Street Lighting required.
• G39 certification required.
• CSCS or ECS card required for site access.
• IPAF 1b/3b for MEWP operation.
• Full UK driving licence (C1 or C / HGV advantageous).
• Previous experience on local authority or highway lighting contracts preferred.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair street lighting columns, lanterns, and cabling.
• Perform electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and routine inspections.
• Operate MEWPs safely for high-level work.
• Follow RAMS and traffic management guidelines on site.
• Collaborate with groundworks and civil crews on site.

Street lighting qualification (C&G 236/2330/2365 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical/Street Lighting)

G39 certification

CSCS / ECS card

IPAF (1b / 3b) certificate for MEWP

Full UK Driving Licence (C1 or C / HGV advantageous)
