Job summary

City Of Doncaster Council is seeking a Street Cleansing Technician to join the Street Scene team in Doncaster. You will train to operate maintenance machinery for litter removal, bin emptying, fly-tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal across sites in the community.

The role offers full uniform and PPE, development opportunities, and a supportive local government pension scheme, with a focus on delivering outstanding service to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in Street Cleansing or Waste management is beneficial but not essential.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team, delivering excellent service.

We may have the opportunityfor you; we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionateindividual to join our Street Scene team.

Although experience in Street Cleansing or Waste management is a benefitit is not essential for the role of Street Cleansing Technician. We need someone with a positive attitude who works well in a team and is committed to delivering an excellent service every day.

We will provide training to allow you to use a variety of maintenance machinery to deliver works including, litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal works. The role works directly in the community on sites across Doncaster, giving you the chance to see the difference Street Scene makes to people living in Doncaster.
