Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking a Street Cleanse Technician based at North Bridge Depot in Doncaster. The role is full time (37 hours) with a permanent contract and a starting salary of £25,584 (Grade 5). Closing date 13 September 2026.

Full uniform and PPE provided with opportunities for development. We welcome applicants who can deliver high-quality street cleansing services across Doncaster, with training available for machinery and routines.

Qualifications

• Experience in street cleansing or waste management is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out street cleansing tasks including litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal.
• Work across Doncaster on community sites delivering high standards of street cleansing service.
