Job summary

Paramount Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead the in-house data engineering capability for 5 Streaming. You will own pipelines, data models and quality controls unifying streaming, advertising, marketing and registration data into a single trusted view of content and audience performance.

You will partner with Skydance data teams, define metrics, govern tagging and drive data quality with an emphasis on experimentation and AI-driven improvements for cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in data engineering, leading a data platform.
• Hands-on with SQL and Python and ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses and related tooling.
• Knowledge of digital/product analytics platforms and event tracking across web, mobile, CTV.
• Experience joining behavioural, advertising and CRM data and resolving identity definitions.
• Proven data quality governance and trusted metric definitions where none existed.
• Practical knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation for non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build and operation of data pipelines and models powering streaming reporting and analysis.
• Create a single joined view of content and audience performance with a common identity across datasets.
• Define and reconcile core streaming metrics and codify business logic across systems.
• Lead analytics implementation and tagging governance, collaborating with product, technology and QA teams.
• Establish data quality monitoring, alerts, scorecards with clear ownership and escalation.
• Build an experimentation capability with templated tests and analysis patterns for non-technical teams.
• Develop in-house data modelling for churn, reactivation, ad targeting, segmentation and personalisation.
• Own the data roadmap, identifying AI and automation opportunities to improve accuracy and cost.
• Partner with Skydance data teams as their technical data counterpart and guide analytics.
• Ensure data governance for streaming datasets in close collaboration with privacy and information security.
