Legal & General (L&G) seeks a Strategy Senior Analyst to join Institutional Retirement and help shape our global commercial strategy. You will collaborate with Pricing, Investments, Reinsurance and Business Partnering teams to advance high‑impact strategic initiatives across the business.

This is a hybrid role based in London, offering cross‑functional exposure and opportunities to influence major divisional transactions while embedding risk controls and delivering data‑driven insights.

Qualifications

• Progress towards or completion of an actuarial qualification, CFA or equivalent.
• Understanding of insurance balance sheets, capital and profit reporting.
• Knowledge of Solvency II and awareness of US/Bermudian regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience or awareness of the PRT market in the UK and/or US.
• Strong analytical and proactive delivery mindset.
• Ability to manage expectations and keep stakeholders informed.

Responsabilités

• Support development of our global commercial strategy with Pricing, Investments, Reinsurance and Business Partnering teams.
• Carry out research, analysis and own significant elements of projects and processes.
• Assist Strategy Directors and senior leaders with BAU strategic activity and major transactions.
• Collaborate across the Group to optimise the balance sheet from capital and liquidity perspectives.
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable collaboration and awareness of opportunities and issues.
• Embed Conduct Risk principles into daily operations to ensure good customer outcomes.
