Job summary

Fortnum & Mason seeks a Strategy & Portfolio Manager to turn priorities into actionable plans and to work with the Executive Team on major investment programmes. You will help structure questions, evaluate options and present clear recommendations to the Exec Team and Board, bringing financial, operational and customer evidence to decision meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with evidence-based conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement across financial, customer and operational implications.
• Experience coordinating complex work across multiple teams and dependencies.
• Credibility to influence decisions with senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Curious, proactive and adaptable with competing priorities management.
• Experience in strategy, commercial finance, transformation or programme delivery.
• Exposure to strategic projects or Executive/Board-level work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight and coordination of major investment programmes with clear milestones and risks.
• Support governance and reporting of the strategic investment portfolio and project commercials.
• Structure priority business questions, evaluate options and develop recommendations for Exec/Board.
• Produce concise analysis and reporting for executive discussions.
• Contribute to future iterations of Fortnum & Mason's strategy and priorities.
