Job summary

TXP Technology x People is seeking a Strategy Policy & Engagement Advisor to support a major government digital transformation programme. Based in Manchester, Bristol or London (Manchester preferred), you will engage stakeholders across government and contribute to discovery, delivery, and service design.

You will work with product, policy, legal, delivery and service design teams, handle prioritisation in a fast-paced environment, and require active SC clearance.

Contract: 6 Months (extension possible)
Day Rate: £300-£450 per day
Clearance: Active SC Required

Overview

We are seeking a Strategy Policy & Engagement Advisor to support a major government digital transformation programme. This role combines stakeholder engagement, service discovery, and operational delivery, working across multiple government departments and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and build relationships with stakeholders across government.


• Support the rollout and adoption of new solutions.


• Contribute to discovery activities, user research, and future service design.


• Analyse information from multiple sources and translate insights into actions.


• Work closely with product, policy, legal, delivery, and service design teams.


• Manage priorities effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience working within Central Government or Local Government.


• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.


• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.


• Exposure to live digital services or product-led environments.


• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience
