Job summary

Duolingo seeks a Senior Creative Director to set the brand's creative vision and lead a team delivering impactful work across campaigns, social, partnerships, and user acquisition. You will raise the creative bar and guide execution from brief to launch with cross-functional partners in Brand Marketing, Growth, Product, and Design.

You will mentor creatives, drive end-to-end concepts, and ensure work aligns with strategy, KPI, and ROI while staying culturally resonant across global markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in brand/creative roles with leadership of others.
• Ability to set vision, influence stakeholders, tie decisions to KPIs.
• Track record turning insights into iconic ideas and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and feedback skills.
• Experience managing agencies across markets.

Responsibilities

• Drive all creative work in Marketing, ensuring it ladders up to strategy and moves brand metrics.
• Lead and mentor a team of creatives; raise craft and taste while encouraging diverse voices.
• Turn ideas into end-to-end campaign concepts; guide across channels from insight to execution.
• Partner with Brand Marketing to shape briefs and deliver work that drives brand love.
• Partner with Growth Marketing to build a performance creative studio for user acquisition.
• Collaborate with Country Marketing to evolve global agency rosters with high standards.
• Oversee creative feedback and quality across project stages with timely decisions.
• Inspire the organization with industry trends, creative references, and new platforms.
