Job summary

Cleantech Impact Partners Ltd is seeking an experienced strategy consultant for an interim engagement to help organisations grow their presence in the defence market. The role blends a consulting background with practical UK defence procurement knowledge, including markets and procurement routes, primes, and integrators.

You will work independently and deliver evidence-based, written analyses. Ideal candidates combine strategy or management consulting experience with senior business development

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy, management consulting, or senior business development or capture roles in defence and national security.
• Proven ability to produce clear, evidence-based written analysis and recommendations.
• Knowledge of UK defence procurement, NATO or international markets.
• Ability to work independently and on a flexible basis.
• Interim or independent consultant with interest in varied assignments via a specialist partner.

Our client are a growing defence consultancy who are looking for an experienced strategy consultant for a flexible, interim engagement supporting organisations that want to grow their presence in the defence market.

You’ll combine a consulting background with a practical understanding of how defence buys, including procurement routes, the role of primes and integrators, and what organisations need to be credible defence suppliers. You’ll be comfortable starting from a blank page: researching a market, forming a clear view and setting out practical, well-argued recommendations in writing.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in strategy, management consulting, or senior business development or capture roles in defence and national security
• A track record of producing clear, evidence-based written analysis and recommendations
• Knowledge of UK defence procurement, plus NATO or international markets
• The ability to work independently and on a flexible basis
• This suits an experienced interim or independent consultant who enjoys varied assignments and working through a specialist partner.
