About:
A global B2B lead generation and marketing agency in London is seeking a talented Event Strategist to join their team. The role involves adding value, authority, and leadership through in-person summits, virtual festivals, workshop series, and live broadcasts. The agency engages attendees, speakers, partners, and members from some of the world's largest companies and most exciting startups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic B2B marketing and event marketing plans aligned with client objectives and target audiences.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights that inform strategies.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and expectations to tailor strategies accordingly.
- Campaign Planning: Develop detailed campaign plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance strategies.
- Topic and Theme Creation: Develop relevant topics and themes for marketing and events that address prospect challenges.
- Customer Persona Development: Deeply understand ideal customer personas to create resonant topics and themes.
- Internal and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with account teams, lead generation, marketing, business development, and data teams to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality content such as whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and outreach copy to support lead generation.
- Agility and Responsiveness: Adapt strategies based on campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and refine approaches.
- Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports showcasing campaign results and strategic insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a strategic role within a B2B marketing agency, preferably with a focus on event marketing.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.
