About the Role
As a Strategist, you will be the trusted strategic lead for a portfolio of complex, global B2B clients. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to develop and deliver end-to-end marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. Your expertise will span research, insight generation, positioning, and the creation of compelling narratives that guide creative and media teams to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy development for selected global B2B clients, from initial discovery through to delivery.
- Guide early client discussions to identify marketing ambitions, opportunities, and gaps.
- Conduct and synthesize quantitative and qualitative research, including the use of advanced social listening and analytics tools (training provided).
- Build hypotheses and uncover actionable insights on audiences, competitors, and industry trends.
- Develop robust value propositions, messaging frameworks, and customer journey maps tailored to diverse segments, geographies, and personas.
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops (both online and in-person) with client and internal teams.
- Consult on optimising the customer journey and addressing key pain points.
- Present insights and recommendations clearly, both verbally and visually, ensuring a logical narrative from findings to action.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally with global or enterprise-level clients.
- Proven track record designing marketing strategies for large, complex organisations.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrable expertise in:
- Audience and account research, segmentation, and buying committee definition
- Brand, campaign, and product/service positioning
- Portfolio, naming, and brand architecture
- Messaging and customer journey mapping
- Confident using research and analytics tools, as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for visual storytelling.
- Comfortable discussing B2B theory, frameworks, and best practices with clients and colleagues.
