Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting an experienced Workforce Planning Business Partner to build a strategic workforce planning approach from the ground up within the Organisation Development & Transformation team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working, based in multiple UK locations.

The role focuses on connecting strategy, people and insight to forecast future needs, close gaps and align workforce plans with business decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic workforce planning or strategic HR.
• Knowledge of workforce planning frameworks and future skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience turning workforce plans into talent and capability strategies.
• Understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion in decisions.
• Confidence to influence senior leaders.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to change.
• Ability to embed new ways of working across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead our strategic workforce planning framework.
• Identify skills, capabilities and capacity needed for the future.
• Turn workforce data into insights, forecasts and scenarios for decisions.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed workforce planning in business planning.
• Work with People and Talent to develop talent, succession and capability plans.
• Help shape career pathways and internal mobility opportunities.
• Identify workforce risks early and enable action by leaders.
• Champion an equity-based approach to ensure diverse and inclusive plans.
