Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group seeks an experienced Warehouse Resource Manager to lead site-wide labour planning and drive workforce efficiency. You will work with operational leaders to ensure resources meet demand, reduce agency reliance and maintain compliant labour practices in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will develop robust labour plans, analyse forecasts, optimise permanent staff deployment and coordinate shift patterns to ensure coverage and service levels.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in labour planning and workforce optimisation within a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment.
• Ability to create and manage strategic workforce plans responding to changing volumes and peaks.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and guide resource decisions.
• Experience reducing agency reliance and improving workforce flexibility.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage robust labour plans for 3PL warehouse operations and seasonal peaks.
• Analyse forecasts and customer volumes to predict staffing requirements and maintain service levels.
• Optimise deployment of permanent staff to reduce overtime and agency labour.
• Coordinate shift patterns, annual leave and contingency plans for full coverage.
• Identify skills gaps and work with leaders to build cross-training plans.
• Manage relationships with agency suppliers, monitor spends and quality.
• Track staffing, costs, attendance and productivity; report trends and improvements.
• Ensure plans and practices comply with employment law and health and safety policies.
