Agrial Fresh Produce Ltd is seeking a UK Packaging & In-directs Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and supply of packaging and indirect goods across the UK. You will develop category strategies, own tendering and contracts, and work with site teams to ensure continuity and value.

With a minimum of 4 years’ procurement experience in FMCG/packaging, you will drive cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and sustainability initiatives within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ procurement experience with packaging/indirect categories.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of packaging specs and stock management; CIPS desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement category strategies for packaging and indirect spend.
• Own sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract activity; evaluate total cost of ownership.
• Forecast requirements with Planning and site teams to maintain stock levels.
• Monitor supply, demand and inventory; establish contingency plans.
• Develop supplier relationships; set measurable service levels and conduct reviews.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, food safety, traceability and ethical sourcing.
• Manage packaging changes, artwork transitions, and launches with stakeholders.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and savings plans; report procurement performance.
• Monitor market trends and inform negotiations; mitigate cost/continuity risks.
• Support sustainability by reducing material use and improving specs.
