Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics Limited is seeking a Transport Planner at their Colchester site to plan and execute cost-efficient collection and delivery schedules in line with business objectives, customer service, and current regulations.

The role requires strong knowledge of transport regulations, the use of IT systems and TMS, and effective communication with customers and internal teams to maintain high service levels. 45-hour weeks with Saturday work and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Highway Code and transport regulations.
• Experience with tachograph requirements and Working Time Regulations.
• Experience with transport operation systems and TMS.
• Geographical knowledge relevant to route planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute collection and delivery schedules efficiently.
• Allocate drivers/vehicles/trailers and manage backloads.
• Coordinate with Workshop for vehicle availability and plan risks.
• Share plans with transport team to ensure service levels.
