Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics Limited is seeking a Transport Planner to join our Rugby site. You will plan and execute collection and delivery schedules using cost-efficient methods, aligned with business goals, customer service levels and regulatory requirements.

Working Monday to Friday, you will coordinate with workshops, allocate resources, and communicate plans to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Highway Code, tachographs and transport regulations.
• Experience with transport operation systems and planning.
• Geographical knowledge relevant to UK networks.
• Health and safety regulations awareness and compliance.
• Proven ability to analyse logistics problems and optimise plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute collection and delivery schedules efficiently.
• Coordinate with workshop to ensure vehicle/trailer availability.
• Allocate drivers, vehicles and backloads to meet daily plans.
• Communicate plans and risks to the transport team and stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels, including agency staff, to meet the daily plan.
• Provide quotes and manage customer bookings to meet requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in transport operations.
• Maintain health and safety standards and clean, safe working environment.
