Job summary

Cardiff Council in Cardiff is seeking a senior leader to oversee planning, transport and environment initiatives aimed at transforming the city’s transport network and active travel options. The role reports to the Head of Transport and will lead a team of skilled officers to deliver the council’s transport strategy.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and work with partners to secure funding for major projects outlined in the Transport White Paper.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of special projects
• Working with our partners and developing those relationships
• Working with external statutory bodies to secure funding
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing the development of those teams
• Managing budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within time and resource requirements
