Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead strategic, cross-cutting transformation programmes, including the Target Operating Model across customer services, transport and workplace change.

You will provide both line and matrix management to project managers, work with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure programmes are clearly defined, governed and delivered. Hybrid working with office days in Northallerton, Harrogate, Scarborough or Selby.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in programme management with recognised methodologies.
• Leadership experience to inspire teams and resolve complex challenges.
• Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in programme and change management.
• Strong stakeholder and resource management for organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic cross-cutting programmes across transformation lifecycle.
• Provide line and matrix management to project managers.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure governance and successful delivery.
• Depute for Head of Service when required.
