Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation relevant to future computing (e.g., semiconductors, AI, networks, software).
• Ability to develop hypotheses and reach evidence-based conclusions about strategic tech opportunities.
• Comfort translating complex tech into clear strategic and commercial implications.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging technologies and market developments with potential strategic value.
• Develop and test hypotheses for venture investments or strategic partnerships.
• Explore and map emerging technology landscapes beyond Arm's current activities.
• Proactively source companies aligned to strategic and technical priorities.
• Assess opportunities using technical, strategic and commercial criteria with expert validation.
• Develop clear recommendations on whether to investigate, partner, invest or monitor.
• Build relationships with founders, technology leaders, investors and academics.
• Own selected strategic relationships and help turn opportunities into partnerships or investments.
