Job summary

University of Lancashire seeks a strategic leader to oversee Learning and Technical Support services, coordinating staff, projects and complex issue resolution. You will work with the Head of Technical Services to drive improvements and ensure excellent support across the university.

You will have a strong background in team management, extensive IT skills and the ability to analyse, interpret and report on performance. An undergraduate degree in a relevant area is required.

• Strong background in team management and customer-facing technical support in higher education.
• Extensive IT skills and ability to analyse and produce reports.
• An undergraduate degree in a relevant area or equivalent experiential learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Learning and Technical Support services.
• Work with the Head of Technical Services to manage, coordinate and develop staff and operations.
• Manage projects, build relationships and coordinate resolution of complex and non-routine issues.
