Job summary

JCDecaux UK is seeking a Technical Implementation Lead to manage upgrades, release processes, and cross-functional delivery. You will lead a team of Implementation Analysts and coordinate with ESA, TSD, BIL, and DSL leads to ensure seamless deployments.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders while maintaining quality and minimizing business disruption.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in system implementation, upgrade management, and release processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, inspire and manage a team of diverse technical professionals to continuously exceed customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain a strategic plan for system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of system upgrades, from planning to post-implementation review.
• Lead the team of Implementation Analysts in effective release management, ensuring timely, efficient, and error-free releases.
• Foster strong relationships with software providers, system vendors, and consultancy firms.
• Share insights and gather feedback from teams to continually refine the implementation process.
• Regularly update business stakeholders on upcoming upgrades, potential system downtimes, and expected improvements.
