Job summary

Salford CVS is seeking a Strategic Support Officer to provide proactive admin support to the CEO and Senior Strategic Leads in Salford. The role ensures smooth running of strategic meetings, forums and events, enabling voice and influence of the VCSE sector and timely, accurate briefings and content.

The post involves facilitating two-way communication with partners, producing sector briefings, content for bulletins and websites, and monitoring the impact of strategic work for quarterly reports.

Qualifications

• Provide proactive administrative support to senior leaders.
• Plan, schedule and co-ordinate meetings and events.
• Draft agendas, take accurate minutes and circulate papers.
• Support forums and stakeholder communications effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support CEO and Strategic Leads with diary management and event planning.
• Organise agendas, circulate papers and record minutes for meetings.
• Coordinate VCSE Leaders Forum activities and invitations.
• Produce briefs, content and monitoring for strategy communications.
• Monitor and report on strategic work and project progress.
