Job Introduction

The Leicestershire and Rutland Sexual Health Hub is advertising this newly created role, which will be crucial for developing and embedding strategic development, engagement, and partnerships to meet the sexual health needs of the community.

The purpose of the role is to support the Strategic Lead in developing effective, collaborative partnerships and engagement to ensure the sexual health needs of the Leicestershire & Rutland community, especially vulnerable groups, are met.

The role will manage the implementation of the Condom Distribution Scheme (Condoms Now) and liaise with statutory and voluntary partners supporting healthy lifestyles.

This position is vital for the success of the Strategic Vision of the Leicestershire & Rutland Sexual Health Hub and requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor projects related to non-clinical aspects of the sexual health contract.
  • Serve as the primary support contact for Condom Distribution Partners.
  • Create a directory of partner agencies and organizations.
  • Support the Practice Educator with non-clinical network delivery.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and the Service Manager/Strategic Lead to ensure support plans, competencies, and resources are in place for ongoing delivery.
  • Assist in developing referral pathways and processes across Primary Care, Secondary Care, and other partners.
  • Support budget planning and contribute to financial forecasting.
  • Collect data on non-clinical activities for invoicing, reporting, and analysis.
  • Participate in cost reduction and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage communication with partner agencies and resolve issues as needed.
  • Conduct initiatives to gather patient and partner feedback and compile quarterly reports.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the health and social care environment.
  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective data analysis skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and initiative.

Desirable skills include project management, a healthcare degree (e.g., nursing associate), and experience in contract management.

Must hold a current UK driving license and have daily access to a car for travel to clinics and meetings.

Package
