Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in the UK is seeking a senior supply chain leader to own S&OP, stock control, and third-party logistics. You will report to the Managing Director and lead teams responsible for stock planning across a large, complex product range.

You will set stock policies, manage supplier performance, and ensure stock plans for promotions and launches, collaborating with Commercial, Finance and Warehouse Ops. Hybrid working with three days at our Keynsham site.

Qualifications

• Senior supply chain leadership with ownership of S&OP and inventory across a large, complex range.
• Hands-on detail with reorder points and supplier lead times, and the ability to connect this to margin and cash implications.
• Experience in distribution or reselling is highly preferred.
• Direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience is highly desirable.
• Dropshipping experience and managing suppliers with long lead times would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly S&OP cycle, turning one agreed demand forecast into a supply and purchasing plan the business can stick to.
• Set stock policy across the whole range, with different rules for fast movers, slow movers and prescription lines.
• Own stock accuracy, supplier performance and our carrier and 3PL relationships.
• Make sure every promotion, range launch and major purchase has a credible stock plan behind it, working with Commercial, Finance and Warehouse Operations.
• Lead the managers across stock, S&OP, carrier and 3PL, and set the standards they work to.
