Job summary

New Appointments Group are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Ashford to join the purchasing and supply chain function. You will manage supplier relationships, raise and maintain purchase orders, and negotiate pricing to support stock management and product launches.

The ideal candidate has purchasing experience and familiarity with ERP systems, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to liaise with suppliers while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing is advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced industry is desirable.
• Ability to analyse key data.
• Prior experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers and build relationships.
• Proficiency with IT packages including Word and Excel.
• Proactive and flexible approach to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the purchasing and supply chain function; manage supplier relationships and purchase orders, and negotiate pricing to support stock management.
• Assist with new product development, planning and product launches, and analysing market/customer/product data to identify opportunities.
• Ensure effective stock management and data-driven decision making across the supply chain.
