Job summary

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Supply Chain Officer in Corsham to support key SCM activities across inventory, supplier management, demand management and performance management. This role is open to ex-military personnel with consideration given to all applicants.

You will review processes, analyse data in Excel, coordinate with ILS and CLS vendors, and ensure policy compliance while driving timely deliveries in a defence context.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SCM in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience in defence supply chain.
• Experience delivering SCM within project management.
• Operates with reasonable guidance, clear processes and instruction.
• Motivated individual that shows initiative and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Review established processes and provide recommendations to implement changes and create new processes across the Supply Chain Team.
• Analyse data (in excel) to understand consumption rates and risks, coordinating with PMs and stakeholders.
• Work with ILS to ensure SCM transition to in service activity is delivered ahead of in service date, including system setup and records.
• Coordinate with CLS vendors to align with contractual deliverables and KPIs.
• Collaborate with CLS vendors to mitigate upstream supply chain risks and manage repair activity and records.
• Maintain supply chain data accuracy across systems and dashboards (HIMA).
• Create quarterly reports for senior management from SCM data.
• Collaborate with Finance, ILS, PMs, Front Line Commands and vendors to ensure policy compliance across supply chain.
• Operate across inventory, supplier, demand and performance management areas.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on stock availability, material requirements and procurement issues.
