Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting an interim Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager to work with Reckitt, a leading FMCG group known for Dettol, Finish and Nurofen. The role is based in Slough, with a mix of remote and onsite work, for a 6‑month period starting soon.

The SRM will govern strategic supplier partnerships, drive value creation, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, IT&D and GBS to maximise enterprise value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in SRM, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Commercial Management.
• Experience managing complex global supplier relationships in IT, Digital, Technology, Consulting, or Professional Services.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and supplier executives.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and performance management structures.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing supplier risk and business continuity considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with Reckitt's strategic IT&D and Professional Services suppliers.
• Governance and performance management of supplier relationships.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier engagement plans aligned to business priorities.
• Drive supplier-led innovation and joint value creation.
• Implement and operationalise the SRM framework.
• Establish supplier governance structures, including quarterly reviews and executive steering.
• Define and monitor supplier KPIs and service commitments.
• Lead recovery and performance-improvement plans as needed.
• Identify cost optimization and value enhancement opportunities.
• Support benchmarking and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Improve contract compliance and reduce leakage across agreements.
• Drive measurable value outcomes from strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate risk management across financial, operational, regulatory, cybersecurity, and geopolitical dimensions.
• Lead issue resolution, dispute management, and escalation processes.
• Partner with Procurement, IT&D, GBS, Legal, Finance, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions and strategic supplier reviews.
• Ensure ownership and clear communication across supplier ecosystems.
• Develop supplier innovation roadmaps and joint business plans.
• Provide access to emerging technologies and market insights.
• Promote strategic partnerships that support growth and competitive advantage.
