Job summary

CSS is seeking a Manager - Supplier Relations to lead strategic supplier partnerships, develop relationship plans, and monitor performance against company standards. You will drive continuous improvement and resolve supplier performance issues, partnering to pursue profitable growth through analytics and field resources.

Responsibilities include coordinating executive supplier meetings, negotiating agreements, managing co-op funds, and forecasting rebates while ensuring alignment with marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years contract negotiations experience (3 years preferred).
• 5 years supplier management experience (6 years preferred).
• 5 years staff management experience (6 years preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive supplier business plans with management and suppliers.
• Collaborate with departments and executives to align supplier plans with business goals.
• Identify target accounts, markets, and sales goals using supplier planning tools and CRM.
• Track targets and report results to suppliers and company leadership.
• Assist suppliers with training programs to grow sales and market reach.
• Manage supplier marketing budgets and co-op dollars.
• Coordinate meetings including top-to-top supplier discussions and planning sessions.
• Negotiate corporate supplier agreements, rebates, funding, terms, and returns.
• Forecast supplier volume rebates and ensure term commitments are met.
• Review margins, fill rates, turns, and product availability.
• Work with distribution centers to optimize supply chain processes and large buys.
