Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for a six-month fixed-term contract in Lincoln. You will engage with suppliers, manage concessions, and work with on-site teams to ensure timely, quality deliveries to the build line.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, strong QA background in high-volume manufacturing, and experience with coating/casting processes. SAP knowledge is a plus and training is offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with substantial supplier quality experience.
• Hands-on quality assurance in high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Experience with coating and casting machinery.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships across levels.
• SAP familiarity; training available.

Responsibilities

• Engage with suppliers to resolve quality issues, manage concessions, and implement change requests.
• Conduct weekly calls with suppliers to discuss concessions and ensure quality adherence.
• Collaborate with on-site Quality, Laboratory, Engineering, Project Management and Operations to ensure timely deliveries to the build line.
• Identify potential quality issues and propose strategic solutions with attention to detail.
• Manage supplier non-conformance, containment, and resolution, and document processes and improvements.
