Job summary

Apex Resource Management is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer for a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract in Daventry. You will drive supplier quality initiatives, manage supplier inspections and audits, and support new supplier introductions.

The role requires extensive collaboration with engineering and procurement teams across the supply chain. The successful candidate will have proven supplier quality experience in automotive environments, familiarity with PPAP/APQP, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supplier quality engineering within automotive manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally, including the US.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of quality strategies to improve supplier performance.
• Manage supplier quality concerns, investigations and corrective actions.
• Carry out supplier inspections, audits and site assessments.
• Prepare supplier action and development plans, CCARs and regular quality reports.
• Develop supplier improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders.
• Support new supplier and new component introduction activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Materials to ensure project delivery.
