Job summary

Hastings Insurance Services Limited is seeking a Supplier Manager for Home Claims. You will develop and manage key supplier partnerships, lead strategic supply-management initiatives and focus on commercial outcomes to drive material cost reductions.

The role requires strong data/MI capability, supplier relationship skills, and extensive experience in an insurance claims environment. The position supports a flexible hybrid working pattern within the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier management within insurance/claims context.
• Ability to analyse data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Commercial focus with ability to drive savings across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Build a clear view of supply chain costs and opportunities using MI/data, then own cost-reduction delivery.
• Collaborate with Supplier Relationship Managers and suppliers to improve services while protecting outcomes.
• Lead supply management initiatives and track savings benefits realisation.
• Deliver performance improvements with suppliers and manage improvement plans.
• Review supplier risk, resiliency, control and assurance with internal SMEs and suppliers.
• Identify market opportunities to build strategic partnerships aligned with Home Claims objectives.
• Apply data/MI in a commercial analysis capacity within insurance claims.
• Manage suppliers across Home Claims and deliver key workstreams of commercial improvement.
• Influence stakeholders to drive change and optimised supplier performance.
