Job summary

Eaton Cheltenham is seeking a Head of Sourcing and Resilience to lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance and supply chain resilience for the site. You will shape sourcing strategy, drive supplier partnerships and manage risk to support growth and customer commitments.

The role requires leadership of a high-performing team, experience in aerospace/regulated manufacturing, and a track record in reducing sole-source dependency and improving supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business required (or equivalent).
• MCIPS qualification preferred or equivalent professional status.
• Leadership experience in regulated manufacturing sectors (aerospace/defence).
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management and category leadership.
• Experience managing supplier risk, resilience and business continuity programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across electronics, mechanical and indirect commodities.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations and strategic supplier partnerships.
• Drive cost competitiveness via value engineering and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Own supply chain resilience strategy and supplier risk governance across the site.
• Lead supplier reviews, performance improvement and supplier development programmes.
• Balance cost, quality, delivery, inventory and risk in sourcing decisions.
• Support new product introductions and complex programme environments.
