Job summary

NBCUniversal in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Manager, Sourcing & Procurement to lead strategic sourcing across the organisation, driving value, cost optimisation, and supply continuity. You will shape strategies, manage key supplier relationships, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver procurement excellence.

The role provides leadership to procurement teams, champions governance, ESG, and risk management, mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with UK policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in procurement, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Progressive procurement/sourcing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience across multiple procurement categories: indirect spend, IT, services, manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated/public sector environments; understands compliance frameworks.
• Strong experience using ERP/e-procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Jaggaer).
• CIPS Level 5 or 6 (or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies with end-to-end activities.
• Lead supplier evaluations, tendering, contract negotiation to deliver savings.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract lifecycles with governance in mind.
• Lead procurement performance reporting on savings, KPIs, risk and compliance.
• Mentor and develop procurement teams; promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal and executives to align strategies.
