Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Procurement Business Partner Manager to lead strategic sourcing and vendor management across multiple streams. You will collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to deliver value, manage cost and risk, and drive procurement excellence.

You will guide category plans, negotiate with suppliers, and mentor junior team members while ensuring alignment with ESG targets and the firm’s strategic objectives. Flexible hours and agile working are offered.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Category management across a range of categories, including IT & Technology procurement and SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing lead for HR, marketing, finance, and services for the relevant business streams.
• Support the Head of Procurement in achieving 2028 vision and department objectives, with savings targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage Category plans and ensure they are living documents.
• Build engagement strategies for key stakeholders with a 'one procurement' approach.
• Negotiate with market-leading suppliers and ensure compliance with vendor management policies.
• Maintain vendor master data and support rollout of POs to strategic suppliers.
• Line-manage junior members of the commercial delivery/sourcing team.
• Align category plans with ESG targets and commercial priorities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted partner.
• Help drive vendor management programs via evaluation and action plans.
• Support vendor managers to optimize value delivery and outcomes.
