Job summary

EDF Sizewell C is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager to support the Strategic Sourcing team in category management for Site Delivery and the SZC project. The role covers development of category strategies, engagement with project managers, finance, legal and controls, and procurement through AGS processes for packages often exceeding £1m.

Based in a Hybrid setup with London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham options, the role carries a fixed-term contract and a salary circa £42,000 per

Qualifications

• A basic understanding of regulated supply chain requirements.
• A basic understanding of collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of category strategies aligned to priorities and market conditions.
• Support end-to-end procurement from Expression of Interest to contract award.
• Utilise e-procurement platforms to manage records to a high standard.
• Identify cost reduction targets and drive productivity and efficiencies.
• Support delivery of savings and efficiencies in cost and productivity.
• Contribute to carbon reduction initiatives via category strategies.
• Promote use of social value enterprises where possible.
• Ensure adherence to AGS and SOC deadlines.
• Undertake supply market analysis to identify opportunities and innovations.
• Collect and analyse data to support procurement responsibilities.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, technical and supply chain teams to develop strategies.
• Support SRM and supplier development to improve performance.
