Sizewell C Company is seeking an Assistant Strategic Sourcing Manager to help develop category strategies and delivery of sourcing requirements for SZC Site Delivery. You will engage with project managers, finance, legal and project controls to procure under the AGS process and handle opportunities up to £100m.

The role reports to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager and requires strong commercial acumen, governance adherence, and collaboration across disciplines within a nuclear construction

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of successful procurements.
• Adherence to governance processes.
• Inter-personal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Basic understanding of supply chain requirements within a regulated environment.
• Basic understanding of collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated industries (Public Sector, Rail, Construction or Nuclear).
• Familiarity with common contracts in power construction (NEC & FIDIC).

Responsabilités

• Assist with development of category strategies based on value and complexity.
• Support end-to-end procurement process from EOI to contract award.
• Use e-procurement platforms and maintain records.
• Identify cost reduction targets and productivity improvements.
• Deliver savings and efficiencies.
• Support carbon reduction and social value initiatives where possible.
• Ensure procurement processes align with AGS/SOC deadlines.
• Input data for market analysis, PQQ/ITT evaluation and tender scheduling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing outcomes.
• Support SRM and supplier development for performance improvement.
