Volkswagen Financial Services UK in Milton Keynes is seeking a Solution Architecture Manager to lead a community of Solution Architects and deliver secure, scalable technology solutions across a diverse programme portfolio.

The role focuses on architectural excellence, transformation enablement and alignment to regulatory requirements, with hybrid working and a salary of £69,300–£86,625 per year plus a discretionary 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading, coaching and mentoring Solution Architects or similar technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of architecture practices and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing architecture activities across multiple products, projects or programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Solution Architects, building a strong Architecture Community of Practice.
• Oversee quality and consistency of solution designs across a broad portfolio of change initiatives.
• Collaborate with project, product and technology teams to ensure architecture support for business outcomes.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance and compliance requirements while aligning to enterprise standards.
• Partner with UK and Group IT stakeholders to support strategic technology direction.
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture processes, standards and best practice.
• Support resource planning and supplier management for effective delivery.
