Job summary

M&G is seeking a Solution Architect to work across the Life portfolio, with responsibility for Advice and Marketing. You will translate business and technology requirements into pragmatic end-to-end architectures spanning customer and colleague experience, applications, integration, data, AI, security and infrastructure.

The role focuses on delivering architecture governance and pragmatic guidance to delivery teams while aligning with enterprise standards and modernising the technology estate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within a complex organisation.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, integration, data, security, digital and cloud technologies.
• Experience designing solutions using SaaS, COTS and cloud services.
• Knowledge of modern integration approaches.
• Ability to structure complex problems into clear architectural choices.
• Experience balancing value, cost, risk and future flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and communicate end-to-end solution architectures.
• Define target-state views and delivery roadmaps for assigned areas.
• Assess build, buy and reuse options and make clear recommendations.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• Provide architecture guidance to stakeholders across delivery teams.
• Design data and integration patterns and oversee design governance.
