Job summary

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is seeking a Service Strategy Implementation Lead for a contract running to 31 March 2027. This hybrid role requires 2 days per week in the Bristol office and is inside IR35.

You will translate strategic intent into practical service design, route-to-market, and transition plans, with a focus on customer experience and enabling business-as-usual ownership. Active SC clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service improvement, transformation or implementation activity.
• Ability to design practical service plans that improve customer experience and route-to-market delivery.
• Strong cross-functional delivery, risk and dependency management with effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead service strategy implementation across commercial, user-support and programme workstreams; coordinate route-to-market activity and service level expectations; drive readiness for business-as-usual operation.
