Job summary

Headley Professional Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager for a Leeds-based interior fit-out contractor. The role involves leading 4-5 commercial staff and managing budgets across diverse projects.

We seek a hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, negotiation and communication skills, and at least 10 years in construction/interior fit-out for main contractors. Degree qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control and risk management.
• Ensure projects are commercially viable and profitable, while meeting contractual and legal requirements.
• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Produce accurate Bills of Quantities/SoW’s from drawings and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Produce valuations and final accounts; monitor, measure and report profit opportunities.
