Wilson James is seeking a Security Operations Manager in London to lead a large security team across a high-volume site. Responsibilities include directing security operations, policy development, and incident management while driving continuous improvement and maintaining exceptional service standards.

The role requires DS SIA licensing, proven management experience in demanding environments, and a proactive approach to safety and training.

Qualifikationen

• Current DS SIA licence.
• Proven management experience in a high-profile environment.
• ILM 3/5 or equivalent management qualification.
• Flair for problem solving and multitasking.

Aufgaben

• Manage the security personnel working on the sites and take responsibility for the performance, professional conduct & development of the team.
• Advise the client on all matters of security including the review and writing of the security policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for all security operations activities & standards of all security personnel, and ensure a preventive approach and that all incidents are managed and responded to promptly in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Report & liaise on a daily basis with the client to ensure effective and open communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a professional security service.
• Ensure all security personnel are fully informed / briefed in relation to both the AI's, SOP's & the H&S documentation
• Provide effective support to the client's incident management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities as defined by the client.
• Ensure all employees are trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring
• Be the first line response for any/all incidents, fire, security and H&S and manage in accordance with specific related procedures.
