Job summary

Ofgem is expanding its Digital, Data and Security Services (DDSS) to strengthen secure-by-design across platforms and services. In this high-impact role, you will set security architecture direction, guide risk-based decisions and lead complex design initiatives across government-scale systems.

You will translate business needs into secure, scalable architectural solutions, engaging senior leadership and driving cross-team collaboration in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Expert-level security architecture and secure design experience.
• Experience guiding security design across complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to influence architectural decisions at an organisational level.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedment of secure-by-design principles across development.
• Provide expert consultancy on complex security architecture across projects.
• Lead security architecture assurance activities aligned with CAF and NCSC guidance.
• Influence strategic and architectural decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Develop long-term security architecture strategies and standards across Ofgem.
