Ofgem is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead the information and cyber security strategy, strengthen resilience, and enable secure delivery across the organisation.

You will report to the CDIO, set the security direction, manage risk, and build trusted relationships with internal and external partners while maintaining DV clearance and driving a culture of security and privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading cyber security and privacy strategy incorporating intelligence management, threat and risk analysis, risk mitigation, and incident response.
• Experience in business and risk management, information security, IT services and operational security roles.
• Knowledge of NIST, NIS Regulations 2018, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR).
• Proven experience working with strategic vendors and partners to deliver high impact results.
• Inclusive leadership style fostering diversity and inclusion and ability to operate flexibly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enthuse stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DV clearance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and delivery of Ofgem's information and cyber security strategy and risk management framework.
• Set security maturity direction and balance risk with delivery and innovation.
• Build trust with colleagues and stakeholders and enable delivery across the organisation.
• Oversee cyber assurance, data protection, security operations and incident response capabilities.
• Publish guidance, practices, tools, standards and templates to embed a security culture.
