Job summary

Camden Learning is a pioneering school-led, place-based partnership with the aim of an excellent education experience for all children and young people in the borough.

We are seeking an experienced governance professional to lead the delivery and ongoing development of Camden’s school governance service, ensuring statutory duties are fulfilled and providing ongoing support, challenge and advice to raise governance standards across Camden schools and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing teams within education or comparable environment.
• Strong understanding of school governance law and statutory requirements.
• Excellent strategic, organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and Camden Learning’s principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and ongoing development of Camden’s school governance service.
• Ensure fulfilment of statutory duties.
• Provide ongoing support, challenge and advice to develop governance standards across Camden schools.
• Build partnerships with Camden and beyond to grow services.
