Job summary

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is seeking a Finance Business Partner to advise on financial strategy across its schools. You will provide high quality financial support, guide budgeting and forecasting, payroll, and procurement, and ensure ESFA compliance while working hybrid from Ruskington Chestnut Street Church of England Academy.

Ideal candidates hold Level 4 AAT or equivalent, have experience in education finance, and can explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 AAT qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in education sector finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial controls.
• Excellent communication with non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial operational support to schools within the Trust.
• Review management accounts, forecasts and payroll data.
• Lead budgeting processes and financial planning.
• Oversee procurement and contracts within authority limits.
• Ensure compliance with Trust policies and ESFA requirements.
• Support school leaders with funding bids and income-generating activities.
• Prepare school-level finance reports and census data.
• Assist with implementation of new financial systems and training.
